Camp Cancelled Through May 11, 2020
Dear Campers:
It seems we have a ways to go before we see the COVID-19 virus slow down. We hope at this time you are safe and well and reading a good book at home.
We want to plan ahead, so you can plan ahead. To this end, we have cancelled camps through May 11, 2020. This includes our UU Women’s Retreat and Camp Transcend.
We plan to refund all registration fees unless you direct us to keep any portion of your registration fees to help support business operations while we are closed. If you would like to donate any portion of your registration fees to the camp, please respond by replying to this email (or write directly to registrar@uucamp.org) and let our registrar know how much you would like to donate. We will begin processing refunds on Tuesday. If we haven’t heard from you by the end of day Tuesday, we will presume you have chosen not to contribute.
We are sad we have to wait a year to see you at this wonderful retreat, but our first and primary goal is for all campers to experience a healthy camp environment. Until we are past this national health crisis, staying home is the safest place for everyone.
We wish to thank our deans and their planning teams for all their hard work creating terrific camps! These folks put in an incredible amount of volunteer hours to ensure you a retreat full of love, support and friendship. To all those who prepared a workshop to share with others, we thank you for your time and hope you will share your talents with us next year.
Let’s all count on seeing one another in 2021.It will seem like an eternity, but we will have a lot to catch up on. Right?
Please reach out to us if we can help in any way. And…..stay in touch by reading news from camp.
From the mountain top!
