Interested in the INCREDIBLE?
Want to unleash your own inner superhero?
Together we’ll harness the forces of confidence, character, and creativity to discover the superpowers hidden inside us all. At Superhero Academy you can create your own secret identity*, learn about UU heroes of the past, then take your first steps toward becoming a member of the de Benneville Pines jUUstice League — a group that handles challenges too massive for any ordinary superhero. Join other youth and families from across our region and fly toward a better world.
*Cape and tights not included
Academy curricula take place inside and out across our campus, and youth and families will have plenty of time to socialize, including at kid-focused worship services. There will even be a creativity space in the lodge where campers can accessorize their super persona or just have fun. Sledding, snow play, and other winter activities are often highlights at this wonderful weekend of wintertime fun. Study (and play) hard to become the very best version of yourself surrounded by the beauty of the forest in winter and share a cup of super serum** with friends old and new at the toasty lodge fireplace.
** hot chocolate or cider
This camp is focused on developing the superpowers of youth in elementary school at the time of camp. Heroes in grades 2-6 can come to camp on their own and stay in cabins with well-trained and talented assistant professors (counselors), or come with their families and stay in a family room. Younger sidekicks (grades K-1) are welcome to join the fun at the academy but must stay with their parents in family cabins. Our tiniest heroes (Pre-K and below) are welcome at appropriate activities but must always be accompanied by parents throughout the day.
Don’t miss the fun – reserve your space today!
Winter camp is the perfect way to spend quality time with the family, as well as allow children the opportunity for personal growth and foster independence.
Camp de Benneville Pines has cozy cabins, warm showers and hot food just waiting for you! All cabins are set up dormitory style, and each family is given their own room in the family cabins. Bathrooms are located inside of all cabins, and several families will be housed in each family cabin. Student dormitories (counselor cabins) will accommodate youth in rooms with others of similar age/grade.
