Parents and families….. Join theFUUN at the PSWSA Assembly
Yes, parents can enjoy workshops, programs, social justice speakers while the youth and kiddos enjoy some special camp-fun with their favorite counselors. FUUN at Assembly is for K-5th and 6-12th graders. Bring your school-aged youth to the Assembly for camp-themed activities with trained UU camp leaders. No infant or non-potty-trained childcare will be available. Parent or Guardian must be on site at Assembly.
Programming is available from 8 AM to 9:45 PM on Saturday (4/26) and three meals will be provided. We are planning to incorporate materials from the Deeper Joy – Finding Connections in our UU Values curriculum.
The cost for the day will be $35 per family – NOT per child/youth! How great is that!
Please communicate with Laura Lunn (cmd@uucamp.org) if you have a young person of bridging age (transitioning from high school to young adult status) and the Assembly will provide the opportunity to have that person participate in a bridging ceremony during the Worship Service on Sunday morning.
**Opportunities exist for trained counselors to support this UU day camp program and get credit towards their favorite UU summer camp. Please contact Laura Lunn, Camping Ministries Director, if you would like to be on staff on Saturday. cmd@uucamp.org.
