The Virtual Fun Continues
Your heart is in the mountains, and your body is at home. What to do? Camp de Benneville Pines virtual camps, of course. Summer is not over and neither are Summer Virtual Camps for Adults.
Young Adult Virtual Camp, “Community Care”, will be held September 4-7, during Labor Day weekend. This camp is a place for UUs and like-minded friends between the ages of 18 and 35 to come together virtually to renew, recharge, reflect, and reconnect. All from the safety of your own home. Now, more than ever, is the need to connect with others, share thoughts, and remember to be grateful. UU Young Adult Camp is a place to strengthen connections to each other, Camp de Benneville Pines, and the UU and wider communities. Everyone attending is welcomed and encouraged to lead or assist in facilitating workshops, too. Check out more information and register here.
The theme for Virtual Yoga Camp, September 11-13, is “Building Resiliency”. This timely camp will be focusing on sharing and cultivating strategies for resilience-physical, mental, and emotional-to withstand or recover from difficult situations.
Deans Lisa Harris and Kathy Bolte have brainstormed to create a virtual camp with a variety of wonderful workshops and experiences. All from the comfort of your own home! Camp will include evening “campfires” and morning “cafes” for discussions and getting together with old and new friends, yoga workshops for all levels (including newbies), mindfulness sessions, and an evening of music and games for the whole family! Find out more and register here.
If you are a regular attendee of UU Young Adult or Yoga Camp, be sure to return for this new way of connecting and growing. If you have been hesitant to attend, or have not attended in many years, virtual camp is an easy way to join the fun.
Don’t let an uncertainty of using Zoom stop you, either. Both camps are offering Zoom training before the main sessions. And the camps are being offered at no charge.
